Nurse Administrator - Eating Disorder, Residential Sign-On Bonus

Job Description In addition to providing regular nursing services, the Nurse Administrator will provide supervision over other nurses and have administrative duties.
The Nurse Administrator consults with the physician and psychiatrist to ensure appropriate medical interventions are achieved, and carries out all orders received, with appropriate information sharing with the Program Director and Facility Manager.
They meet with each client daily, completes a daily assessment, and administers all prescription medication.
Responsibilities Completing H&P upon admission for each client Developing and initiating the Nursing Care Plan Facilitating therapeutic groups Availability for consultation after hours and returns telephone calls/pages within a ten-minute time frame Meeting regularly with medical staff to discuss client treatment Performing primary first aid and determining need for physician notification Consulting with the physician and psychiatrist to ensure appropriate medical interventions Meeting with each client, completing a daily assessment, and administering all prescription medication Responsibility for carrying out any orders received from the physician and psychiatrist, and reporting information to the Program Director and Facility Understanding the therapeutic process and confidentiality laws, and having strong knowledge of professional ethics Demonstrating leadership abilities, with an ability to communicate with persons from all educational and cultural backgrounds Compensation Range:
$110,000 - $130,000 This position is offering a $5,000 sign-on bonus Compensation is dependent upon education and experience This full-time position is in-person at our 6-bed Menlo Park Adolescent Residential Program.
It has a schedule of Monday-Friday 9a-5p and includes being on-call for med passes.

com/locations/menlo-park/Qualifications Must be a Registered Nurse with current, unencumbered nursing licensure in the state of California, required Bachelor's degree, preferred Experience working in behavioral healthcare, preferred Two years' experience with compliance and personnel management, preferred Experience with adolescent psychiatric care, preferred Obtain CPI certification within 90 days of hire Obtain CPR, AED, and First Aid certification within 90 days of hire Obtain ServSafe certification within 90 day of hire Must possess a current driver's license and be in good standing Additional Information We are proud to be an EEO employer M/F/D/V.
