Applications Engineering - Fleet Operations

Applications engineering is a pivotal & dynamic team in Residential and Small Commercial (RSC) business unit at SunEdison, providing engineering solutions, support and services to our installation partners and end-customers. We provide innovative and custom solutions with our products to solve complex problems. We work at the intersection of business & technology and take cross-functional leadership on multiple projects within the organization. This team works closely with product development and product management teams to define new product requirements and conduct alpha, beta evaluations. This team also trains internal support teams on new products, owns successful deployment of products in the field and takes cross-functional leadership in resolving any field product quality issues. We also own uptime and energy performance of our entire installed fleet of solar systems globally.
Most importantly, we are extremely passionate about deploying solar energy systems across residential and commercial rooftops globally at an unprecedented scale.
We are looking to add a member to our team who is not only technically savvy but is detail, process oriented and has excellent project management skills to manage our fleet of installed solar systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be responsible to:
Hire, train & manage a team of engineers offshore responsible with monitoring and troubleshooting our fleet of installed systems.
Develop scalable processes to remotely monitor and troubleshoot the fleet of solar systems and ensure high uptime on them.
Work with partner operations and other teams to develop & implement programs to maintain & service systems in a timely and efficient manner.
Develop & implement programs for partner & end-customer communications in regards to performance of their system.
Develop processes to periodically report on fleet performance, both internally as well externally to financing entities, insurance entities, etc.
Provide feedback to product management & product development teams on improvements to our fleet monitoring tool. You will be expected to travel less than 20% of the time. Travel may be international.
Required
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering with minimum of 2 years of experience required
Must possess demonstrable experience building business processes and project management experience. Experience managing an offshore team is an added advantage.
Candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills and should possess ability to resolve conflicts & reach agreements when working with other functional groups.
Candidate must be self-starter and should have the ability to multi-task and possess good time management skills.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with people in different functions required. Candidate must possess excellent presentation skills too.
Experience working in solar industry would be nice to have but not required.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
