Senior Analyst, Structured Finance

The Structured Finance Senior Analyst will be a key contributor, working cross-functionally, in driving the development, implementation and execution of project finance innovations within SunEdison's fast growing RSC Business Unit.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Manage and expand commercial finance product offering suite, in support of origination, using a variety of non-recourse project finance structures including sale-leasebacks, partnership flips, lease pass-throughs, and debt and equity.
Coordinate internal and external legal staff and advisors in support of the drafting, negotiation, and execution of term sheets, financing documents, and contracts associated with solar project financings.
Apply financial and structuring knowledge to develop innovative modifications to existing finance solutions as well as support the development of new structured finance solutions that support the requirements of different geographies and commercial customers
Coordinate with banks, institutional investors, JV partners, and legal teams to manage the timely funding of current and new solar project transactions.
Assist and coordinate due diligence efforts with banks and other financing partners.
Coordinate with finance product marketing and business operations to develop process improvements in support of customer finance product pricing and value proposition messaging
Minimum 3 years of work experience and prior transactional experience working within project finance, asset-backed finance, M&A, investment banking, consulting or private equity
Direct financial modeling experience involving the following: real estate, partnerships, EBITD&A stressing, economic drivers, tax variables, SRECs/incentives, etc.
Advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
Desire to work in an a rapidly growing early stage company in the renewable energy field
Bachelor's Degree
Ability to collaborate across departments within the company and with external advisors to lead project finance diligence and closings
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
Excellent communication skills in both oral and written English
Project management and complex financial modeling experience
Understanding of accounting and financial statements
Ability to effectively operate with high energy and flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment
Solar or renewable energy industry experience a plus
